It only stands to reason that the more we see increasing numbers of Lamborghinis being built each year we would also see a corresponding increase in the numbers of old and new Lamborghinis hitting the auction blocks. And with those increasing auction offerings we have lately seen an overall increase in values in the classic model range up to the Countach era cars with record prices achieved. And with that, many of the long time owners who loved and drove their treasures for decades are becoming nervous about taking them out like they once did in fear of the worst occurring and their now priceless treasure depreciating in a heartbeat. Reluctantly the cars are being offered up as many cash out with some purchasing Lamborghini's "lesser" models and some trading straight across on the newest or at least newer models and gaining a whole new appreciation for the Audi era cars. So it comes as no surprise that even the "lesser" models like the once "entry level" Urraco P111 above would see an increase pushing even this classic into the unaffordable range for many enthusiasts as the Urraco hits an all time record high. This month's European auction offerings below bring us yet further classic models and we'll likely see prices climb further still. So if you've always wanted to purchase a classic Lamborghini and still know of a couple hidden away by some owner not yet aware of where values are going it might just be time to take that giant leap before your favourite is permanently out of range.
We also have this month the last of our 55 new LM002s added to the LM Registry we've been working on over the past few months. Among them is yet another LM002 to suffer being blown up, this time for a major motion picture in Russia. Thankfully this will not be the end of this car. Check them all out below.
