Few things in the evolution of a recent super sports car model are as exciting as the introduction of the first convertible or spyder version. So following the Huracan's GT3 and Super Trofeo model intros, enthusiasts greatly anticipated this year's Frankfurt Motor Show would bring something new. Days before the show opening Lamborghini sent invites to the press that the spyder was indeed coming and word got out quickly.
Two of the new Huracan LP610-4 soft top Spyders were on hand for the introduction which later shared the stage with the new Aventador LP720-4 SV Roadster introduced only a month earlier at Pebble Beach, CA in the USA. All 3 were an instant success with the promise of more to come in the future, no doubt a Superleggera version in the wings for the Huracan and the much anticipated Centenario and Urus production model.
