1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota
The Diablo SE30 Jota was a factory offered "kit" intended to increase the power output of the SE30 engine to almost 600 hp. The kit also included a redesigned engine cover having two large air intakes projecting froward over the roof, which served to increase airfow and volume to the redesigned air intakes on the engine. The exhaust on the standard SE30 was replaced with a less restrictive, open system that accounted for the car being deemed unfit for road use in some countries. Lamborghini's fine tuning of the LEI system in combination with the other changes made to this model resulted in an 80 hp increase over the standard SE30.
The factory Jota modifications produced a car so powerful that one owner even had the package removed from his car after finding the increase power too "wild" for his liking.
The ILR is thankful to a fellow Jota owner who was able to compile and contribute the following chassis numbers of all official SE30 Jotas from factory records.
