When Automobili Lamborghini first announced in August 2012 that it would be celebrating in grand style its 50th Anniversary in May 2013 I knew it would be an event "not to be missed." I was right. For all those fortunate enough to be involved in the Grande Giro or even to be in the vicinity of Bologna watching the spectacle unfold as the celebrations wrapped up, it was unforgettable. If you could't be there we'll fill you in on some of what you missed.
And be sure to return next month when we'll attempt to bring you as many as we possibly can of the 350 Lamborghinis that took part in the Grande Giro and were seen in and around Sant'Agata and Bologna during the festivities. We'll also fill you in on some of the other interesting things you can do in Italy if you're planning your next vacation or hoping to make it out for Lamborghini's 60th.
