A Millennium of Culture Meets Lamborghini Craft - The Lamborghini 10th Anniversary 'China Giro' Sets Off From Chengdu Stop

The Lamborghini 10th year anniversary China Giro has set out from Chengdu. Surrounded by ancient architecture, mountains and lakes, the “Drive Through Culture” leg of the exciting journey commenced. Continuing on from the second successful stop in Guangzhou, the group of esteemed car owners and enthusiasts gathered once again to enjoy a thrilling drive in this celebrated location, feeling the culture and heritage from a bygone era while experiencing Lamborghini’s “Visionary, Pure, Cutting Edge” DNA. China is one of the most important global markets for Lamborghini and 2015 represents the 10th anniversary of Lamborghini entering this market.

Today, we are here in Chengdu to kick off the third leg of the tour, meanwhile we unveil the gift from Automobili Lamborghini ‘Huracán 中’ to celebrate our brand’s key milestone in China, providing our esteemed owners and fans this exclusive chance to experience the charm and outstanding performance of Lamborghini cars and offering world class services to meet the expectations of discerning Chinese customers.”
Limited to 50 production solely for China this year, Huracán 中 piloted the whole fleets and journey. It shows Lamborghini’s confidence over Chinese market and the long-term commitment to the Chinese customers. This leg of the tour themed ‘Drive Through Culture’ starts from Chengdu, moving deep into Mingyue Village, with its thousand year history of ceramic crafts; the culture and immortal soul of Sui and Tang dynasty works exemplifying Zen and ancient undying beauty. Attendees will also visit the birthplace of tea culture, the legendary Mengding Mountain and Tea-Horse Ancient Road, ending at an ancient tea plantation, tasting the soul nourishing flavors of a thousand years of tea history and experiencing the “Eighteen Dragons” tea performance. Swimming in a sea of history and culture, guests will enjoy incomparable driving pleasure and an exclusive Italian lifestyle experience. Across a thousand years of ceramics and tea culture, walking alongside the long history of the Chinese people quickens the pulse and makes ones heart sing.
The first leg of the China Giro embarked from Shanghai in July, with the eastern leg following the theme “Drive Through Time”. In August, the marvelous team gathered again in Guangzhou to start the second leg themed “Drive Through Space”. Following the conclusion of the Chengdu leg of the tour, China Giro will continue and stay away from the hustle and bustle, returning to the tranquility of nature. This celebration will enable Lamborghini owners and enthusiasts to partake in an unforgettable driving experience. Meanwhile, the unique event will bring a Lamborghini-dedicated lifestyle experience to car owners.
