SpeedVegas Prepares to Burn Rubber in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, USA, 21 September 2015
SPEEDVEGAS broke ground in Las Vegas on a $30 million exotic and muscle-car racing experience. Local officials helped turn the dirt on a shovel ceremony on Monday, Sept. 21, for the 100-acre complex, scheduled to open January 2016. The "everything-speed experience that allows anyone to become a supercar rock star" is located on South Las Vegas Blvd., 10 minutes from the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign. The complex will feature a multilevel Welcome Center complete with indoor and outdoor observation decks, café and meeting space; an Event Center that will accommodate thousands of people; and a supercar course inspired by Formula One racetracks with rising elevations changes, sweeping turns and a straightaway that compares to the top circuits in the world. The course will be fully lit, allowing for after-dark experiences and events. SPEEDVEGAS will have some of the world’s most sought-after exotic and muscle supercars including, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Ford Shelby, Corvette and many more.
